Last week, 6 ABC's Action News visited Joe's District Office in Media to film a segment on the work he is doing to address constituent concerns, especially those facing foreclosure as the housing crisis continues to affect families in the 7th District and across the Nation. We have become candidates for School Board because we are committed to preserving the educational excellence of Radnor's schools. The current economic condition of our country, along with legislative restraints from the State of Pennsylvania on the amount of money we can spend on our schools under Act I, creates a climate that requires School Board Directors to make prudent choices between competing demands for limited budgetary resources. We believe these challenges will require steadfast commitment to our goals of excellence in student education and achievement. Leadership now requires a reassessment of District practices, to ensure that we are attracting and retaining the finest teachers, making the best use of new technologies, and promoting a well-rounded curriculum that delivers a superior education.
